Introduction: How to Make Pancit!! #HMS2020

Today I will be making a Filipino noodle dish called pancit!



1. 1 lb of pancit rice noodles

2. 1/2 pounds of chicken

3. 1/2 small cabbage

4. 2 celery stocks

5. 1 onion

6. 1/2 tbsp garlic

7. 1 pc chicken cube

8. 5 tbsp soy sauce

9. 3 to 4 cups of water

10. sprinkle some fish sauce

11. pepper

12. chicken broth

Step 1: Boil

There are different ways to cook your chicken. You can boil it, cook it on the stove. I have decided to boil the chicken, since its more easier to shred. Also if you cook it on the stove top, it is more harder to shred. Plus I might burn the house if I cook it on the stove top.

Step 2: Cutting Time!

Cut all your veggies. Also the onion and garlic. It was pretty hard to cut the onion because my eyes kept watering up. Plus, use a big knife, just be careful NOT cut your finger.

Step 3: Cut/shred the Chicken

My grandparent and I started to shred the chicken into small pieces to make it easier to eat. I let it cool down for 2 mins. I then started to shred the chicken. If going to cut the chicken, make sure NOT to cut your finger.

Step 4: Rice Noodle

Put water in rice noodle. You must do this in order to separate the noodles. If you don’t do this, you will have these weird noodles that I don’t wanna have. This took about 4 mins to separate.

Step 5: Cooking Time

We are going to cook now. First, add the onions and garlic. Second, add soy sauce and chicken broth. Also, sprinkle some fish sauce. Third, add the veggies. Fourth, separate the veggies, onion, and chicken; put in a different bowl. Fifth, add the rice noodles and add 1 tbsp of oyster sauce. Then mix. Also, add pepper. Sixth, add veggies, onions, and chicken. Then mix! Now you're done!

Step 6: You're Done

I am now done making the dish. You can enjoy it with yourself, family and friends. This is a good noodle dish to make. (also ramen) This took me also about 1 hour and 5 mins.

Step 7: Conclusion

I've learned that pancit isn't that hard to make. What I probably did wrong was adding too much soy sauce. I added 6 tbsp instead of 5.
