Introduction: How to Make Roasted Potatoes & Carrots

Whether it's on a grill, oven or over a campfire, I love me some potatoes & carrots. Each time I do it differently but they're so easy to make it's sort of hard to mess them up.

Step 1:

1. Turn your grill/oven on. For grill – high or 400 degrees, for oven – 400 degrees.

Step 2:

While preheating, gather your ingredients.

a. I used baby carrots, or if you’d like you can peel whole carrots and cut them into smaller pieces.

b. 2 bags of blended bite-sized potatoes

c. Salt and pepper for taste

d. Seasoning of your choice, I used “Sweet Rub” from Hy-Vee

e. Olive oil and butter

f. Tin pain, at least 2 inches deep

Step 3:

Place carrots in tin pain

Step 4:

Cut potatoes into halves and place into pan

Step 5:

Drizzle with 2-3 tbsp, just enough to coat the vegetables for the seasoning to stick

Step 6:

Season with salt, pepper, seasoning, and stir it all together

Step 7:

Top with 3 good tbsp of butter

Step 8:

Cover with aluminum foil

Step 9:

Place in grill/oven for one hour or until desired softness

Step 10:

Once completed to softness of liking, remove from grill/oven and let cool

Step 11:

Serve with your main course of choice, tonight we had pork chops!
