Many people use the simple, old, boring Alex and Steve skins, but guess what?! You can create your own and unique Minecraft skin!
Get ready to learn how!

Step 1: The "Magic" App

The app that will help you do the "magic" is called Creator PE, it is necessary for the next few steps.

Step 2: Getting Started

Once you have downloaded the app, you will see a set of advertisements. Just ignore them and click on the "Menu" button, that is at the bottom of your screen.

Step 3: Creating Your Skin

Once you click on the button, you will appear with the Menu, which should look something like the picture above. At the top of your screen, you should see the message "Tap To Create a new Skin". You know what to do: tap it! Then, you will see a small box with two options: Blank Skin and Load from Pc User. Tap on the one that says Blank Skin, to create your own.

Step 4: Filling It In!

When you click on the Blank Skin option, you will see the face of your blank skin. Fill it with your color of choice. To choose a color, click on the button shown on the picture above. Once you click the black square, you will see many colors, click one and tap anywhere on the screen to get out of the color menu. Fill in the face of your new skin and there you go! The face is done.

Step 5: The Rest of the Head and Body.

When the face is ready, click on the blue button that has a square (the head), a medium rectangle (the chest), and two smaller rectangles (the arms).
You will see that there is a lot of filling in to do! There is also a button at the top right of your screen that looks the same but in green, when you click it, you can see how your skin is looking.

Step 6: Almost Done!

When your skin is completely filled in with color and how you want it to look like, click at the check mark that is at the top left of your screen. You will see your completed skin. Click on it and a set of options will appear on your screen. Click on the box that says "Save to PHOTOS for Pocket Edition".

Step 7: Using Your New Skin

Go to Minecraft PE, the skins box. Click on "Browse" and you shall see your photo library. Click on the skin you created and voila! You are wearing your skin!
