Introduction: How to Make an Original Character

For today's project, I will be teaching you how to make an original character that you can use in dungeons and dragons, a role play with friends and most importantly an original story of your own. Please enjoy this tutorial and have fun making your own original characters.

Supplies

The supplies you'll need for this project are: a tablet, phone or computer, a gmail account and the Google Keeps website or app

Step 1: Set Up or Sign Into Your Google Account

Before we start to make an original character, we first have to make or sign into our Google account.

Step 2: Download Google Keeps on Your Phone or Go to the Google Keeps Website

To download Google Keeps on your phone or tablet, go to the app store and type in Google Keeps. Once you find the app click on it and start the download. If you're on a laptop or a desktop, type in Google Keeps in the search engine and click the link to the website.

Step 3: Open the Google Keeps App or Website

Once the app has finished downloading or the website has finished loading, you should see a blank screen, don't mind mines I've been writing these stories since 6th grade. Anyway, you should see a black screen and at the bottom of the screen you should see a plus sign. Click the plus sign to start a new note and begin to create your original character.

Step 4: Start Creating Your Original Character

To start creating your original character, you first need to choose a first, middle and last name for your character. If you can't thing of a name for your character, I recommend that you used a name website to pick the character's names. A name website that I use is called The Bump.com. After you have successfully chosen your names for your character, you can move on to the character's age, height, weight, physique, eye color and hair color. These help you really define your character and start to get a feel for how your character is going to look.

Step 5: Finish Your Character Creation

Now to finish off your character creation. Yay! We're almost done! After you have created your character's age, height, weight, physique, eye color and hair color, you can move on to your character's birthday, race, known names, appearance, power, relationships, skills and abilities, and backstory. This is the final and most crucial step in making an original character because your character's appearance is their defining trait and is what most people use to get a feel of what type of personality your character has. Same with your character's backstory. This will tell people where your character is at in terms of their mental and emotional state.
