How to Open a Crown Bottle With a Piece of A4 Paper

Here's how to open a bottle with a piece of paper:

1. Check the bottle is not a twist top, If it is, just twist it to open.
2. Get a piece of A4 paper

Step 1: Fold the Paper

Fold the paper in half, then fold small folds, as shown in the photo.

Step 2: Fold, the Folded Paper in Half

Now, fold the folded paper in half. It should be quite stiff. If it's not, have another try.

Step 3: Opening the Bottle

• Grip your hand around the bottle neck.
• Rest the folded paper on your thumb, as shown in the photo
• Praise the bottle top off, by engaging the folded paper under the crown top's 'frills' and working them upwards and outwards. This may take a couple of goes and could feel a bit sore on tender hands (like mine :-), but the prize is worth it.

Step 4: Top's Off, Now Enjoy Your Beverage

The top should pop off after a bit of effort and you can then enjoy your beverage.
