How to Download (almost) Anything From the Internet (5772/2012)

This is an instuctable on how to download most stuff from the internet
(with your help-everything :)

Step 1: Firefox

grab firefox or one of her variants.
I like http://www.palemoon.org/ for older computers
and http://waterfoxproject.org/ for the newer stuff

Once you've done that download the following extensions
http://www.downthemall.net/
and http://flashgot.net/

Both help you grab alot of stuff at once.

Step 2: Streaming

Then you have most media which has no apparent download link.
Download HiDownload   http://www.hidownload.com/
and it will be. Just install it as well as WinPcap (when it asks to install)
then click yes to start sniffer and start browsing. My understanding is if
it plays in your web browser it downloads it.

You can download http://timestopper.net/ to stop the countdown

There are exceptions though.
The next step helps with that.

Step 3: MySpace

MySpace has a special site designed NOT to
let anyone download (:()
Not anymore
http://www.grabthatfile.com/
goto the site login with your facebook/twitter
put it the myspace url of the music and the download links are
right there.
Have fun.

Step 4: Realplayer/RTSP

Files that
end with ram prefix or rtsp suffix
do not play in the web browser
have to be played,recorded and converted to MP3
with realplayer (read:fakeplayer) http://real.com
