Introduction: How to Find Pikachu in HeartGold/SoulSilver

About: Hello there! I'm just a anime and Pokemon fan! I love music as well: My Chemical Romance, Twenty One Pilots and All Time Low are some of my many favorites. Thanks for reading my bio and don't forget to follow…

Hello there Instrutables.com! This is my first D.I.Y/Tutorial here so please be patient with me.

So anyway, I'm going to be showing you how to find Pikachu in HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions!

Please try to follow along with the pictures and steps!

Step 1: Head to Viridian Forest

This is the first step (obviously)

Head to Viridian Forest in the Kanto Region (which is marked with a square) If you have a Pokémon with the Ability "Static" with you in the first slot in your party. If you don't have a Pokémon with this ability, that's okay, you can find Mareep and Flaffy near The Safari Zone (On Route 48)They have the Ability "Static"

If you can catch one, put it in your first slot in your party. Now you can head to Viridan Forest.

You are probably wondering why you need a Pokémon with the Ability "Static" This is because Pikachu's Ability is "Static" and this increases your chance by a lot. Without the Static Ability in use, you have a ONE PERCENT CHANCE of finding Pikachu!

Step 2: Walk Into Tall Grass

This is a really obvious step.

Once you have a Pokémon with the Ability "Static" walk into tall grass and you will find Pikachu most likely, if you don't TRY AGAIN. It took me about 2 tries for it to work! Once you find a Pikachu, it's time to battle!

Step 3: Time to Battle the Wild Pikachu!

A WILD PIKACHU APPEARED!

I have some advice in how to catch the Wild Pikachu.

Use A Nest Ball- The Pikachu's in the forest are Level's 4-7 so I recommend this ball

Use A Quick Ball- It increases your chance of catching it when it first appears

Use/Waste A Master Ball- If you want to use a Master Ball to catch it, DO IT! It's your decision

Step 4: Enjoy Your New Pokémon!

Now that you found a Pikachu, ENJOY IT!

Try it out in a battle somewhere! It normally knows "Thundershock, Growl, and Tail Whip" when you catch it. If you want, go to the Pokéathlon Dome and buy a Thunderstone! It's available on Thursday for 2500 Athlete Points.

I have a Raichu actually and I literally had a meltdown when I evolved my Pikachu (I LOVE RAICHU!)

If you have any concerns, questions or anything I got wrong please tell me!

Thanks so much for following my Tutorial!
