Ready to make an Aviation?

Step 1: Cocktail Ingredients for an Aviation

Let's make sure you've got all the ingredients you need.

1.5 oz gin
1 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz maraschino liqueur
1/4 oz simple syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
Brandied cherry

Step 2: Preparation

Add all liquid in shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into chilled coupe. Garnish with a brandied cherry.

    Creme de Violette is getting way easier to find! Now it's available at my local liquor store whereas I used to have to search in the next state to find it. Great non-Creme de Violette version though!
