Introduction: How to Make an Un-openable File

That's right, an un-openable file.

This is very easy, but if you have a friend who isn't as tech-savvy as you are, they will be completely perplexed.

Supplies

-A Windows Computer

-A friend

-Three-Quarters of a brain (more or less)

-A icon file of your choice (Navigate to Coverticon to convert almost any image to an .ico file)

And that's it!

Step 1: How to Make It

Enough chatter, let's get started.

  1. Make a folder anywhere.
  2. Make a shortcut of that folder.
  3. Rename that shortcut to something other than what you named your folder.
  4. Put the shortcut inside that folder.

And you're done!
