Introduction: Inexpensive Rust Cure

What you will need: - a container or squirt bottle - wire brush and or wire wheel for a drill either air or electric - white vinegar - rags - brush or something to apply the product - course steel wool - clean water for rinse

Step 1: Prep Area

Clean area with wire wheel and or wire brush so Loose surface rust is removed. Press hard to ensure clean preparation of metal Works best when bare metal is exposed paint and other material such as sealants will interfere.

Step 2: Clean Up Rust Dust

Take a rag and wipe the dust off! Cleaning the surface.

Step 3: Apply Solution - Before

- you will mix 4:1 ratio of water to vinegar into your bottle or container. After preparing the surface you then brush or spay the solution on to the rusted area. Wait until the surface turns golden and then you can start to remove the remaining rust.

Step 4: Removing the Waste - After

Use your wire brush or steel wool to clean the remaining rust with water the rust should be black! This is okay because this is sterile metal and will not rust again.

Step 5: Ending

This surface is clean. Repeat as many times as necessary ! Most professional shops don't even do this because they don't even know about it! Don't be discouraged by this, go out and buy your 100 dollar rust cure! This method works just as good if not better! It's cheap and does the job right! ~Do It Yourself!
