Introduction: Install Bidet on Any Standard Two Piece Closet
This instructable is about adding Bidet to any existing standard two piece closet.
For anyone who has heard the word 'Bidet' for the first time, it is a fixture intended to clean the human solid waste with water.
This is the most hygienic way of cleaning human solid waste. Yes, ditch the papers!!

Step 1: Precheck
Ensure you have a standard two piece closet.
Step 2: Shop for Bidet
Shop for bidets in HomeDepot or Lowes or other online retailers. I got one from Amazon.com
You can choose a Cold water only Bidet or a Cold or Hot water combo Bidet. I chose a one that had option to switch between Cold and Hot water or just neutral.
Once on receiving the bidet, make sure the water pressure knob is at zero/low position.

Step 3: Tools Required
The following are the list of tools required
1. Adjustable Wrench
2. Knife/Scissors (to cut tube)
3. Flat Screw Driver/File (to cut portion from basin separator) - This is optional

Step 4: Remove Seat Cover
Remove existing seat cover unit from closet. Unscrew two screws from the rear bottom of the closet seat.
Step 5: Drain Tank
Shut the flush nozzle and flush the water in the tank. Nozzle direction parallel to tube indicates full water flow (1). Nozzle direction perpendicular to tube (pic 1)indicates zero water flow (0).
Once drained the tank completely, remove the nozzle attached to the bottom of the tank (pic 2).

Step 6: Attach 15/16" Adapter
Attach the 15/16" adapter to the bottom of the tank(pic 1). This is omni directional and hence only one end could be screwed to the bottom of the tank.
Usually cold water is sent to drain tank and hence 15/16" adapter would be in plastic construction. The metal adapter is supposed for hot water.
Now connect the open plastic end of the adapter to the tube that was initially removed from tank (pic 2).

Step 7: Make a Small Hole in Was Basin Separator
A small hole needs to be made to allow the tube to pass through the wash basin separator. Usually the separator is made of compressed wood and hence could easily be drilled with a flat screw driver and a flat/round file.
Step 8: Shut Hot Water Inlet
The wash basin next to the closet usually has both Hot and Cold water inlets. We could leverage the hot water inlet for the bidet.
Shut the hot water valve by switching the nozzle position perpendicular to the tube.
Using adjustable wrench, unscrew the nozzle attached to the hot water fitting.

Step 9: Attach 9/16" Adapter
Attach the 9/16" adapter to the fitting attached to wall(pic 1). This is omni directional and hence only one end could be screwed to the wall fitting.
Now connect the open end of the adapter to the tube that was initially removed from wall fitting (pic 2).

Step 10: Attach Tube to Hot Water Inlet
Unscrew the screw in the mid point of 9/16" adapter (pic 1). Insert the open end of the tube to the small hole opening of the screw (pic 2).
Now insert the tube fully to the small opening in the middle of 9/16" adapter and screw it to hand tightness.

Step 11: Pass the Hot Water Tube Outside
Pass the hot water tube outside the separator. After having enough to length to connect to the bidet, cut the tube with a scissor/knife.
The remaining portion would be used for cold water inlet.

Step 12: Attach Tube to Cold Water Inlet
Unscrew the screw in the mid point of 15/16" adapter. Insert the open end of the tube to the small hole opening of the screw (pic 1).
Now insert the tube fully to the small opening in the middle of 15/16" adapter and screw it to hand tightness (pic 3).

Step 13: Attach the Hot and Cold Water Tubes to Bidet
Remove the plastic screws (2 nos) from the bottom of the bidet and insert them over the hot and cold water tubes.
Now insert the hot and cold water tubes to appropriate nozzles in the bottom of the bidet. Then screw them to hand tightness with the screws over the tube.

Step 14: Secure the Bidet and Place the Seat Cover Over
Gently place the bidet over the holes present in the closet in such a way that the knobs in bidet face upwards (knocks facing ceiling)
Adjust the hole to hover over the closet hole. Now place the seat cover on top of bidet and screw both bottom ends.

Step 15: Open Nozzles
Now, open the cold and hot water nozzles in such a way that the nozzle positions parallel to its tube.
Once done, twist the water pressure switch to two or third speed and you must get a steady flow of water around.
Ensure caution as the water would spill out of the closet. If positioned opposite, might get wet.

Step 16: Its Done!!
It's all done now. First time users, please use caution as high pressure might hurt at back.
Once practiced, you will feel very comfortable and would just think how have you lived without this so far.
Some bidets have something called "Women Clean". Although I haven't used it much, it is supposed for women to clean during menstrual cycle.
Also, toggle between hot and cold waters for season specific usage.
Personal hygiene also starts with a fresh clean.
