The tee and tee snout make it easy to get the liner through the side of the chimney without having to knock a giant hole on the side of your chimney. The stainless steel liners are a bit difficult to bend through a thimble Especially if the thimble hole is small.

If I were able to connect an elbow instead of a tee would this be safe?
