Introduction: Korean Fried Rice
This is how to make Korean Fried Rice. #hms2020
-Rice (2 cups cooked)
- Spam (quarter of a can, sliced into small pieces)
-Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
-Soy Sauce (2 tablespoons)
-Carrots (1/4 cup, chopped)
-Peas (1/4 cup, frozen peas defrosted)
- Egg (1)
-Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
- Black Pepper to Taste
Step 1: Put Some Olive Oil in a Pan.
Turn on the stove to medium to medium high heat. Let it heat up for 1 to 2 minutes. Then put your olive oil in the pan. Make sure to get the olive oil all around the pan.
Step 2: Add Some Garlic and Saute.
Peel two cloves of garlic. Then mince before sautéing. Add to olive oil. Saute for 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 3: Add Carrots.
Next, cut the carrots. Depending on how big you want the carrots, cut them into even pieces. Then add it to the pan. Make sure to stir well so it doesn't get burnt.
Step 4: Add Spam.
Cut the spam into evenly cut pieces. Then add to pan. Stir Fry until slightly golden.
Step 5: Add Rice, Soy Sauce, and Peas.
Stir fry until the soy sauce is mixed into the rice mixture. Then scramble 1 egg. Get that ready in a bowl. Stir it well. Then add your peas.
Step 6: Add the Scrambled Egg and Black Pepper.
Create space in the middle of the pan. Then put the scrambled egg in that area. Stir very well. The egg will just melt in the rice. Add the black pepper after the egg is mixed.
Step 7: Enjoy!
I learned the recipe from my grandma. But of course I was the one who cooked it. There wasn't any problems for me,. But if you leave any of your ingredients in the pan for too long, then it will burn. Otherwise there shouldn't be any more problems. But anyway, enjoy your Korean fried rice.
