Introduction: Little Parthenon

In this Instructable we will show you how to make a little Parthenon.

Supplies

You will need:

- a thick block of balsa wood,

- thin block of balsa wood,

- balsa wood rod,

- PVA glue,

- and saw.

Step 1: Cut Out a Piece of Wood

Cut out a piece of wood from thick balsa wood block, 9 cm by 7.5 cm.

This will be the base of the building.

Step 2: Cut Out Another Piece of Wood

Cut out a piece of wood from think balsa wood block, 5.5 cm by 7 cm.

Step 3: Stick the Thin Part Onto the Thick Part

Stick the thin part onto the thick part with PVA glue.

Leave to dry for one day.

Step 4: Cut Out the Pillars

Cut out the pillars from the balsa wood rod, 3 cm in length each.

Step 5: Stick the Pillars Onto the Base

Stick the pillars onto the base with PVA glue.

Leave to dry for one day.

Step 6: Cut Out the Roof

Cut out the roof from thick balsa wood block, 5.5 cm by 7 cm.

The triangle is 5.5 cm in width and 1 cm in height. Cut it out with saw.

Step 7: Stick the Roof on Top of the Pillars

Stick the roof on top of the pillars with PVA glue.

Leave to dry for one day.
