How to get free carpet

Step 1: Build a Dirt Wall

Build a dirt wall at least 2 blocks up

Step 2: Get Carpet

Get any carpet and this works in survival and creative

Step 3: Tap the Dirt

Tap the dirt with the carpet but don't place the carpet

Step 4: Free White Carpet

When you tap the dirt you will get free white carpet without using your existing carpet. This works in both survival and creative
