Introduction: Makey Makey Tile Project
We made a Makey Makey button that plays sounds when pressed
Supplies
- Makey Makey kit
- Foam
- 2 Wires
- Foil
- Cardboard
- Card stock
- Exacto knife
- Tape
Step 1:
Poke a hole in the middle of a piece of foam.
Step 2:
Thread a stripped wire through the foam, leaving a long side hanging off the bottom.
Step 3:
Place a piece of copper tape upside down on the foam and stick the wire overtop.
Step 4:
Cover the wire and copper with a piece of tin foil.
Step 5:
Cut up card stock and layer to make a thick border around the tin foil foam sheet.
Step 6:
Tape said border down.
Step 7:
Get a new piece of cardboard and place a sheet of tin foil atop it.
Step 8:
Poke a hole through the border then thread a stripped wire through the hole. Put another piece of copper tape underneath the wires edge.
Step 9:
Place the cardboard on top of the tape and then seal with tape.
Step 10:
Lastly, attach the wires hanging off with alligator clips to a Makey Makey and attach the circuit to the computer. On Makey Makey connect sounds to the button so when you press the button, it plays!
