Introduction: Making Cheese Burger Egg Rolls
I love cheeseburgers and I have been hearing a lot about these little things called Cheeseburger Egg Rolls lately, so you know I had to try my hand at making them and I was not disappointed at all. I mean its like a snack sized cheeseburger that you can dip in burger sauce mmmmm. Go ahead and try them out for yourself. Don't forget to like and share. Step 1: Ingredients
Cheeseburger Egg Rolls
- 2 cups lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup onions, diced
- 1/4 cup dill pickle, dived
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- Salt, pepper & garlic to taste
- 3/4 cup grated medium cheddar
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg whisked with a tbsp of water
For the burger sauce
- 1/2 cup of mayo
- 1 tbsp relish
- 1 tbsp French dressing
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- a pinch of salt
Step 2: Brown the Beef
Brown the ground beef in a medium frying pan at medium heat with a little olive oil.
Step 3: Strain
Drain off any access fat, return to the pan and add the onions and cook until translucent.
Step 4: Add Seasonings & Pickles
Add the ketchup, garlic salt, pepper and pickles and remove from the heat.
Step 5: Roll Them Up
Lay out your egg roll wrappers and brush all the sides with the eggs. Add a little cheese and the beef mixture to the centre of the wrapper flip both sides in and fold the bottom to the top then pull back while rolling. See the video for the method used.
Step 6: Deep Fry
In a deep fryer heated up to 350 degrees, fry the egg rolls until golden brown, takes about 5-7 minutes turning the rolls halfway.
Step 7: For the Sauce
Just whisk all ingredients together well and serve it up with some of those delicious Cheeseburger Egg Rolls.
