So, Lets start our tutorial now.

Supplies

Supplies Needed To Make This Project

  1. Soldering Iron kit
  2. PCB holder
  3. PCB
  4. Electronic Components
  5. Lead Trimmer

Components Needed

  1. 1 x GBU1508 Bridge Rectifier
  2. 2 x 1uF 400v Non Polar Capacitor
  3. 4 x 6800uF 63V Electrolytic capacitor
  4. 6 x Pcb Spade Terminal
  5. 2 x BLX-A Fuse Box With 20A Fuse

Step 1: Designing the Layout and Generating the Gerber

As Always I Started designing the PCB on EasyEda Software, Placed all the needed components inside an 54*200mm layout, then started arranging them as per the layout size then connected all the necessary tracks, after that I started giving it a final touch. As you can see on the above image. After that I generated the Gerber file.

Step 2: Uploading the Generated Gerber File and Ordering the PCB's

After that I simply visited Seeed Studio's Website and created a free account. And then visited their PCB/PCBA service page. After that I uploaded the Gerber file and selected the PCB colour and selected the quantity. And Placed the order.

Step 3: Received the PCB's

After 1 Week of ordering, The PCB arrived, And were vacuum packed nicely.

Step 4: Starting Assembling the PCB

Then started mounting components on the PCB, first mounted the smaller ones and then the bigger components. ie: PCB Spade Terminals then mounted rectifier and the non polar capacitor, Fuse Box, After that mounted the Big Power Capacitor. Then Started soldering the components on the PCB. All this process was very easy as well as fast. Then I cleaned the PCB and it was ready for testing.

Step 5: Final Look of the Ready PCB & Testing It

Then Started testing the Circuit. Connected 30V transformer and tested the output of the circuit, the output was symmetrical and stable. The circuit worked perfectly. And the PCB was ready for use.
