Ingredients:
Chicken:

- 2 large chicken breasts

- 1 Egg - Dash of salt

- Dash of pepper

- Dash of onion powder

- Dash of garlic powder

Batter:

- 1 1/2 cups flour

- 1 cup milk (adjust as necessary; consistency should be like batter)

- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

- Salt to taste

- 1 tsp. pepper

- 1 tbs. onion powder

- 1 tbs. garlic powder

- 2 eggs - 1 tsp. paprika

- Pinch of cayenne

- 1 tbs. mustard (optional)

Step 1: Mince Chicken Breast

You can either use a knife or a food processor to do this step. You can even use store-bought ground chicken. This step is essential to let all the flavors sink in and to make the chicken more tender. It also gives the nuggets a "McNugget" texture. Although it may take a while, it is a worth it investment of time.

Step 2: Season Chicken

In a mixing bowl, add egg, salt, pepper, and onion and garlic powder into the ground chicken and combine.

Step 3: Shape and Chill

Coat the chicken lightly with some cornstarch (optional), then shape them into bite-sized pieces. Chill for 30 minutes.

Step 4: Season Batter

In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, pepper, grated parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne.

After mixing the seasonings, add eggs and milk. Blend with a whisk until a batter consistency is obtained. You may adjust the liquid to obtain the consistency.

Step 5: Coating the Nuggets

Dip the chilled chicken chunks into the breading batter. Ensure that it is coated evenly.

Step 6: Frying the Nuggets

Take a small cooking pot, and fill with oil from 1/4 to 1/2 inches deep. Make sure the cooking container has absolutely no water inside, unless oil may splatter and burn you!

When the oil is hot, carefully place nuggets in the oil and cook until one side is golden brown. Flip and do the same. I recommend handling them either with a long spoon or tongs. Do not overload pot with nuggets. Nuggets absorb a lot of oil, so you may need to refill occasionally. I recommend using a lid or splatter lid to protect you and/or your face. Repeat until completed.

Step 7: Enjoy!

Serve with ketchup or any other sauce you like. These nuggets are absolutely amazing and well worth the time!

Enjoy!!!
