Minecraft Vending Machine (that You Have to Pay to Get Stuff)

I wanted to make a vending machine that you had to pay to get what you want. So with the help of my brother I made this. Push the button nothing happens. But if you put you payment in and push the button. What you want comes out. I made it in the xbox 360 version. Hope you enjoy.

Step 1: What You Need

What you need is

1 Dispenser

1 Dropper

4 Hoppers

15 Redstone

1 Redstone Torch

1 Redstone Comparator

1 Redstone Repeater

1 Chest

12 Carpet

9 Carpet (optional just for looks)

3 Stairs

3 Of the thing you want your machine to give (optional)

3 item frames (optional)

284 Blocks (of your choice I chose Quarts)

Step 2:

First stack up 5 blocks and break all but the top one. Then make a platform like you see in picture 2.

Step 3:

Now place your dispenser in the middle of the middle row. Place a block covering up the front.

Step 4:

Underneath the last block you placed put a dropper facing to the back. Then place a hopper facing down 1 block below but in front of the dropper. Then cover it up.

Step 5:

Underneath the hopper place 2 more hoppers pointing to the front. Then another hopper at the end of that row pointing down. And under it place a chest with a block under it.

Step 6:

Now this part I cant really explain so just look at the pictures for help.

Step 7: Redstone!

So in the last step you made like a little platform leading to the ground now we are going to put redstone on it. Go to the top and put redstone connecting to the dispenser the down that little staircase. Then place comparator next to the back of one of the hoppers. and place a repeater in front of it. Then lead your redstone around it and down onto the ground. And lead it around to the block under the comparator. The place a redstone torch on the other side of the block. Now your mostly done.

Step 8:

Now make like a little room around the back of the dropper. and place carpeting on the floor to cover up the hopper. The place a sign over the back of the dropper that says what to pay. And build like a little building around the redstone.

Step 9:

Now place a button on the left side of the dropper. Now this next step is optional so place your stairs and blocks on the side of them. now if you want place your item frames where you want them and put your things you want in the vending machine. And if you want you can put carpeting on the side of the stairs. Now go to the side of the building and break 2 blocks to get in make shore you don't break any redstone. Go inside and place ladders on the inside wall to get up then climb up and put whatever you want it to give in the dispenser for the vending machine.

Step 10: All Done

How it works is you put what you are going to pay in the dropper and push the button and out pops a cake or whatever else you put in your vending machine. Now your done I hope you enjoyed this instructable and don't forget to vote.
