Flight Brew Coffee Maker

A simple easy to make coffee maker. Cheap and can be made in a day.

Step 1: What Do You Need?

Spears 898 Series PVC Pipe Fitting, Union with EPDM O-Ring, Schedule 80, 1" NPT Female

Cap off a Micky's

PVC Tape

Funnel

Tin Can

Duct Tape

Stans No Tubes 44mm Presta Universal Valve Stem (Carded Pair for Road)

Cheering Coffee Filter

You can get the majority of these things at a Hardware store, Wal-Mart or Amazon. As for the Coffee Kuering filter, either you can buy that or do what I did and totally take apart a Kuering Machine thinking you'll use the majority of the parts.....which of course did to happen.

Step 2: Get Your Cat and Start Building!

I highly suggest a friend to help you in this endeavor. In this case, my cat!

Step 3: Drink the Micky's

Begin by drinking the Mickey's and poking a hole in it's cap. The easiest way to do this is by hammering a nail through the top.

After you make the hole, stick the Universal valve tube through the hole.

Step 4: Saw the Funnel

Measure where the top of the coffee filter would land at the bottom of the funnel.

After you do this, saw the bottom off.

Push filer through the funnel.

Step 5: Put It All Together

Tape (using the PVC tape) the cap to the bottom of the PVC pipe fittings.

Set the coffee filter in the top of the PVC pipe fillings.

Step 6: And There You Go!
