Step 1: Start 3D Printer

Since this step will most likely take the longest, we recommend that you start your 3D printing process at the start to make sure you have all of the necessary parts.

You need to print out two of each of the attached .stl files

Each part of the pot will take approximately 15 hours to print.

Each part of the water collection tray will take 12 hours to print 

Step 2: Set Up Circuitry

Wire up a basic LED breadboard

Follow photos - Attach the power supply (Arduino w/ battery) with two wires to the positive and negative channels of the breadboard in a series from negative to positive. Add a resistor and a led. Make sure the leads are correct to the photos of the arduino.

Connect soil moisture sensor

To connect the breadboard to the Arduino, plug the power into pin 1 and plug the ground into a GND port 

Step 3: Set Up Code

Step 4: Connect Everything

Glue together both pieces of the planter and both pieces of water collection dish

Place soil and plant in the pot

Place soil moisture sensor into the pot

Upload code to Arduino

Attach power supply to Arduino
