Introduction: Molten Choco Lava Cake
Molten Choco Lava Cake is easy to make. You need only 6 ingredients to make this delicious cake. It is perfect Dessert for any special Occasions.
Serve : 2 Persons, 2 Jumbo Muffin cups
Here i used 1 medium ceramic bowl which is 13cm dia and 6cm height.
Step 1: Ingredients
1/4 cup semi sweet choco chip
1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 whole egg , 1 egg yolk
3 tbsp all purpose flour
Butter for greasing baking bowl
Step 2: Method
1. Preheat oven for 420 deg F in Bake mode.
2. Take a microwave safe bowl, add in choco chip and butter. Microwave it for 1 minute.
3. Mix the melted choco chip and butter using fork/spoon.
4. Add powdered sugar and mix well.
5. Add eggs in it and beat nicely.
6. Finally add all purpose flour, mix it without lumps.
7. Grease the baking bowl with butter, pour the batter in it.
8. Bake for 12 minutes and let it cool for sometime.
9. Run knife around the edges of the bowl , place a plate on the top and flip it carefully.
Step 3:
Delicious Molten Choco Lava Cake is ready!! Enjoy :)

my oven only goes to 230 its a fan oven how long do I need to cook it for, does it really ozz with chocolate, it really looks like heaven!

Shabash, It seems that the oven you use shows the setting of the temperature in degree fahrenheit. 412 degree fahrenheit = 210 degree celcius(approx) . So use that setting.

I made this and they tasted really good!!! But mine fell apart as I was taking them out of the muffin pan(the bottom stuck to the pan so my cakes looked like an active volcano..). How long should you let them cool before flipping so this doesn't happen again?

Hi, I let them cool for 5 to 7 minutes. And before I bake, I greased the bowl with 1 1/2 tbsp of butter (room temperature),so it was not stick in the bowl. Thank you so much for trying it :)

After flipped the cake, Cut like heart shape in paper towel, place tat in the centre of the cake and sift a teaspoon of powdered sugar. Done! Thanks:)

I made this last night for friends. It was a risk making a recipe the I've never done before for a dinner party, coupled with the fact I've never had or made lava cake in my life! but I will say it worked PERFECTLY! Just a little "lol" at the instruction to: "Add eggs in it and beat nicely." I tried to be nice and thought I'd sing it a song and tell the mixture how much I appreciated it! Anyway - thanks, it made my evening.
