Introduction: Multi Layer Halwa

The world will be dull so as people living in that. To make the dull world, a happening place to live. Lets indulge ourselves in the Sweet Treats full of sweet dishes, chocolates, waffles, fruits and Master of all Sugar.

The Multi Layer Halwa is fusion of 5 sweet dishes from India namely Carrot Halwa, Bottle Gourd Halwa, Dried dates Halwa, Pineapple Halwa and Khoya. The word Halwa comes from Arabic Language meaning Sweet. All the 5 types of Halwa are layered together to form a Muli Layer Halwa. Each Halwa is made up cooking carrots, Bottle Gourd, Dried dates, Pineapple and Milk Powder separately with milk powder, sugar and cardamom powder.

Step 1: Ingredients

Khoya Ingredients:

1. Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 tablespoon

2. Milk Powder - 1 cup

3. Milk - 1 glass

Carrot Halwa Ingredients:

1. Carrots - 1/2 Kg

2. Milk Powder - 2 tablespoon

3. Sugar - 3 tablespoon (according to your taste)

4. Cardamon Powder - 1/4 teaspoon

5. Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon

Bottle Gourd Halwa Ingredients:
1. Bottle Gourd - 1 Kg

2. Milk Powder - 2 tablespoon

3. Sugar - 3 tablespoon (according to your taste)

4. Cardamon Powder - 1/4 teaspoon

5. Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon

Dried Dates Halwa Ingredients:
1. Dried Dates - 200 gms

2. Milk Powder - 2 tablespoon

3. Sugar - 1 tablespoon (according to your taste)

4. Cardamon Powder - 1/4 teaspoon

5. Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon

Pineapple Halwa Ingredients:
1. Canned Pineapple - 1/2 Kg

2. Milk Powder - 2 tablespoon

3. Sugar - 1 tablespoon (according to your taste)

4. Cardamon Powder - 1/4 teaspoon

5. Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon

For Garnishing:

Dry fruits chopped (Almonds, watermelon seeds, Cashews, Pistachios) - 1 cup

Step 2: Step 1: How to Make Khoya

1. Add ghee(clarified butter), milk and milk powder to the pot and cook till it thickens.

2.Transfer to a bowl and keep it aside.

Step 3: Step 2: How to Make Carrot Halwa

1. Wash and Peel off the carrots.

2. Grate the carrots.

3. Add grated carrots to the pot and cook till all the water gets evaporated.

4. To the carrots, add milk powder and cook for 10 minutes.

5. To the above carrot mixture, add sugar and cardamom powder and cook till it forms a lump.

6. To complete the carrot halwa, add ghee(clarified butter) to the Halwa and cook for a minute.

7. Transfer the Carrot Halwa to a bowl and keep it aside.

Step 4: Step 3: Bottle Gourd Halwa

1. Wash and Peel off the Bottle Gourd.

2. Grate the Bottle Gourd in such a way that seeds/ middle part does not gets grated.

3. Add grated Bottle Gourd to the pot and cook till all the water gets evaporated.

4. To the Bottle Gourd, add milk powder and cook for 10 minutes.

5. To the above Bottle Gourd mixture, add sugar and cardamom powder and cook till it forms a lump.

6. To complete the Bottle Gourd halwa, add ghee(clarified butter) to the Halwa and cook for a minute.

7. Transfer the Bottle Gourd Halwa to a bowl and keep it aside.

Step 5: Step 4: Dried Dates Halwa

1. Wash and soak the Dried Dates overnight and deseed them.

2. Grind the Dried Dates to a fine mixture.

3. Add grinded Dried Dates to the pot and cook till all the water gets evaporated.

4. To the Dried Dates, add milk powder and cook for 10 minutes.

5. To the above Dried Dates mixture, add sugar and cardamom powder and cook till it forms a lump.

6. To complete the Dried Dates halwa, add ghee(clarified butter) to the Halwa and cook for a minute.

7. Transfer the Dried Dates Halwa to a bowl and keep it aside.

Step 6: Step 5: Pineapple Halwa

1. Grind the Canned Pineapple to a fine paste.

2. Add grinded Pineapple to the pot and cook till all the water gets evaporated.

3. To the Pineapple, add milk powder and cook for 10 minutes.

4. To the above Pineapple mixture, add sugar and cardamom powder and cook till it forms a lump.

5. Transfer the Pineapple Halwa to a bowl and keep it aside.

Step 7: Step 6: Assembling All the Halwa

1. Assemble all the halwa, dry fruits and silver leaf at one place.

2. Take a shot glass and add all the halwa in to form the layers in following order:

Carrot Halwa

Khoya

Bottle Gourd Halwa

Khoya

Dried Dates Halwa

Khoya

Pineapple Halwa

Khoya

3. Finish it by topping the layers by dry fruits and silver leaf.

4. Your Multi Layer Halwa is ready to serve.
