Hey guys, I'm new to instructables and this is my first make. I hope you guys enjoy! :) ;)

Step 1: The Body of the Box!

First, find a piece of cardboard which fit these measurements (30cm width, 42cm length). Then, measure 5cm from the length from the corner and draw a line down it. Do this on both sides. This will be the base of the box. Then repeat what you've just done (with the same measurements) on the width. It should look like the third pic on the bottom :)

Step 2: The Folding!

Next, run the scissors down the lines we drew earlier and fold them inwards. This is the start of our storage box! (Also, cut out the four corners otherwise it will not work!) :) secure your folds in place with sticky tape! Is should look something like the pic!

Step 3: The Lid!

Grab another piece of cardboard and repeat everything I have just told you in the previous steps (including all the measurements)

To save you going back to the others steps, here are the previous steps :)

42cm length
30cm width
5 cm folds

Once you have done that place the lid on top of the base and it should fit nice and snug! ;)

Step 4: Decoration!

Everything that is made on instructable has to look very good, so we need to decorate don't we? Start off by using some coloured card/paper (preferably Nerf colours) and stick them on the sides and top of the lid and the box itself, the bottom end does not need decorating but can be if you want. Also, I find adding a Nerf logo on the Internet to the lid make it look quite fancy, but it is your choice! Go wild with this step! ;) for mine, I used some tissue paper to cover up the cardboard and a picture from the Internet on the lid, but you can Do whatever you want!

Step 5: The Lock!

To make the lock, get two pieces of cardboard (one 10-20cm length, 2cm width, and one 5-10cm length, 2cm width). Before we do anything, make sure you decorate the lock before you stick in on!!!! First get the longer piece of DECORATED cardboard and stick it sideways,the ends sticky taped but keep the middle open. Then, get the other piece of cardboard and put it facing upwards on the base of the box. So, when the lid is placed on the top of the box, you can lock it in place! :)
