Step 2: Melting the Butter and Sugar

First let's add our sugar to a sauce pot, then add the butter and the milk to it. Place the pot on your stovetop and set the temp to Medium Heat. Let the mixture heat up until it gets to a rolling boil on the top, once it gets to that stage let it cook/boil for one minute then remove from the heat. Make sure to stir the mixture frequently throughout this whole process, we don't want the mixture to burn.

Step 3: Peanut Butter Time!

Now transfer the mixture into a large pot and add the peanut butter to it. Stir to combine and melt the peanut butter.

Step 4: Hall and Oates Er Um I Mean Vanilla and Oats

Next add in your vanilla extract and stir to combine. Lastly combine all of your oats in with the peanut butter mixture until everything is coated well and it resembles a nice thick peanut butter oatmeal.

Step 5: Spoon, Place, Chill

Next using two large Tablespoons spoon out some cookie dough onto a parchment paper lined or silicon mat lined sheet pan or cookie sheet. You can shape the dough with your spoons if you like. Once you have them all laid out, chill the cookies for 30 minutes to an hour until they set. Enjoy! :) :)
