Ombre Nails

These nails are super easy and fun to do. For those of you who don't know what ombre nails are, they're basically nails that fade into another color. These nails are a sparkly blue, mermaid inspired ombre. This step-by-step instructable will show you exactly how to do this design. Please rate and leave comments, too! Step 1: Materials

I used these for my design, but basically you'll need a white polish, light blue polish, medium blue polish, sparkly polish, clear polish, and a cosmetic sponge. Also, it is highly advised that you have Q-Tips and nail polish remover.

Step 2: Step 1

Paint every nail white

Step 3: Step 2

Paint a corner of the sponge light blue and pat it on every nail, re-applying polish to the sponge when necessary. You will need many coats. This polish is super light!!

Step 4: Step 3

Do the same with the medium blue, but only sponge the middle to end of your nail. Blend the white and blue by using a light coat of blue on the sponge.

Step 5: Step 4

Apply the sparkly coat to every nail, wait a while and add a clear top coat. And with that, you are finished! The design looks super cute on toes, too! Use your remover and Q-tip to clean up anywhere you sponged outside the lines. I hope you enjoyed this instructable! Please rate and leave comments!
