Introduction: Oreo Icecream Chocolate Cupcake Bites

About: I make cake for my friends and family occasionally as a hobby. I also enjoy crocheting.

Oreos?!  Chocolate?!  Icecream?!  Mmmmmmm, Who wants some??? Well here's how to make it.This fun little dessert will make anyone feel special to have this for there very own treat. My kids couldn't even wait for me to take the pics for this instructable, they had to have the first 3 that I made. (I have 3 kids)

***Look at the end of this instructable to find many more delicious ideas for the chocolate cupcake "container".

Step 1: You Will Need:

Melting Chocolate -Like Wilton candy melts
Wilton Candy coloring(optional)
Oreo Cookies and Cream Icecream (or another flavor if you prefer)
Wilton Mini Cupcake mold

Step 2: Getting Started

First thing  you need to do is melt your chocolate. Microwave your chocolates on half power in 30 second intervals stirring often until melted and creamy.  Do NOT let water come into contact with the chocolate(make sure the bowl is dry before you put the chocolate in) Put the melted chocolate in the mold up to the line , then put the top part of the mold onto the chocolate .This will displace the chocolate so that your final product will be a hollow chocolate cupcake for you to put the icecream in.Tap it to get the air bubbles out, then flip over and tap again. Chill in the fridge for about 15 min. then move it to the freezer for about 10 min.The chocolate should just pop out of the mold, but be gentle. If for some reason the chocolate breaks ,you can always remelt the chocolate and try again.

NOTE:  I wanted pink chocolate so i dyed my white chocolate with the pink coloring.(pictured)

Step 3: Fill Your Chocolate Cup With Your Desired Contents

Take out your Oreo Cookies and Cream Icecream out of the freezer until it is really soft. Spoon it into the bottom cup and put back into the freezer so it can refreeze.

Step 4: You Are Ready to Enjoy Your Dessert

Now just put the top on.If you want to make the top stay on you can slide the top of the cupcake on a warmed cookie sheet and the little bit of melted chocolate on the end will "glue"the lid on when it sets up. Thats it !!!! Eat or serve as desired.

In addition to filling this cute ,delicous "container" with all the goodness of Oreos and cream. You can fill this with:
