Introduction: PF Chang's Lettuce Wraps (FAIL PROOF Copycat Recipe)

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 pound ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small white onion, diced
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
2 scallions (green onions), thinly sliced
kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
1 head butter lettuce or romaine lettuce
Step 2: Brown Chicken
Add olive oil and ground chicken to large non-stick skillet. Cook and crumble over medium-high heat until browned. Drain any fat.
Step 3: Stir in Ingredients and Continue Cooking
Stir into cooked ground chicken - garlic, onion, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and ginger until onions have become translucent, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 4: Finish Cooking
Stir in water chestnuts and scallions (green onions) until tender, about 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5: Serve
Spoon several tablespoons of chicken mixture into center of lettuce leaves. Enjoy!
