Introduction: Paper Airplane (Glider)

I found this paper airplane on a website (I can't remember for the life of me what it was) but it's easy to make and it can take some small mistakes in folding. I couldn't find any just like it on Instructables but if you find one like it, send me the link. Also, if you mod it, tell me what you did, because I want to try it out. This plane works so well you can even use three hole paper, and it will still fly! (Me and my friend found this out during band class when there was a substitute. We got bored and made some.)

Step 1: Materials

Stuff you need:
-A piece of 8.5" by 11" paper (standard printer paper)

Stuff you (should) already have:
-Hands
-Eyes
-A brain (fully functioning)

Step 2: Folding, Part I

Fold paper in half the long way.

Step 3: Folding, Part II

Fold corners to the center fold.

Step 4: Folding, Part III

Fold that down so the bottoms of the previous folds are at the top of the fold.

Step 5: Folding, Part IV

Fold the new corners of the paper to the center fold, but leaving a triangle about .75 inch long.

Step 6: Folding, Part V

Fold the triangle that you saved over the previous folds.

Step 7: Folding, Part VI

Fold the plane in half so the triangle is on the bottom of the plane.

Step 8: Folding, Part VII

Line up point A with point B. BOTH WINGS!

Step 9: Folding, Part IIX

Put point C to point D so each edge lines up, then do the same on the opposite side.

Step 10: Folding, Part IX

Rest the plane so you see the space in between the wings, and fold the triangle you just made to the inside.

Step 11: Throwing

Put your thumb and forefinger on both sides of the triangle and throw GENTLY so it glides.

Have fun!
