Step 1:

  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1 mango (pulp)
  • 1 banana (mashed)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Walnut pieces for garnish
  • Additional grated carrots for decoration


Step 2: Combine and Mix the Ingredients

  • Grated the carrot
  • Extracted the mango pulp
  • Mashed the banana
  • In a large mixing bowl, combined the mashed banana, grated carrot, and mango pulp.
  • Added vegetable oil and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mixed well until all the wet ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, wheat flour, cinnamon powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Ensured they are evenly mixed.
  • Gradually added the dry ingredients to the bowl of wet ingredients. Stirred gently until just combined and was careful not to overmix, as this can result in a dense cake.
  • Let it sit for 5-7 minutes

Step 3: Getting the Oven Ready

Pre-heated the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 4: Getting the Pan Ready

Added parchment paper to the pan. Poured half of the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Tapped the pan gently.


Step 5: PI Decoration

Created the Pi Symbol Decoration carefully freehand the Pi symbol (π) onto the surface of the cake batter using small pieces of walnuts. additional grated carrots. Add second layer with care to this and made a second layer on the PI symbol.


Step 6: Baked and Served the Cake

Placed the pan in the preheated oven and baked for approximately 42-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Cooled and Served:

  • Once baked, removed the cake from the oven and allowed it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  • Then, transferred the cake to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Optional Garnish:

  • Decorate the top of the cooled cake with additional walnut pieces for extra texture and visual appeal.
