Introduction: Pistachio Bread

Hey there everybody. About 2 years ago my wife came home with a cookbook (Hometown Recipes For The Holidays) she had bought at a fundraiser. I found the original recipe for Pistachio Bread in it . After a few changes, (just because I can't leave any recipe alone) here is what I have ended up with. I hope you enjoy!

Step 1: Ingerdients

2 - 8"X4" Loaf Pans

1 Box Instant Pistachio Pudding

1 Box Yellow Cake Mix

1/4 Cup Honey

1 Cup Sour Cream

4 Large Eggs

4 Tbs. Sugar

2 Tbs. Ground Cinnamon

1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil (Actually, I used Canola.)

Step 2: Preheat Oven and Grease Both Pans.

NOTICE !!!!

Very Important !!!!

2 - 8"x4" Loaf Pans - 2 Of Them!!

Step 3: Combine Sugar and Cinnamon and Set Aside.

Step 4: Batter Up

Now go ahead and place the rest of your ingredients into a bowl. Mix together until you have a smooth batter. Pour 1/2 of the batter into both your baking pans and sprinkle the top with your Sugary Cinnamon. Now pour another 1/2 of the batter into both your pans. Take a skewer, chopstick or even the end of a spoon and stick into the batter and swirl around all over the batter a few times. Place your pans into the preheated oven and bake approximately 45 mins. at 350 degrees.

Step 5: Confession Time.

Ok, by now I'm sure you are wandering why I am stressing the whole 2 loaf pan thing. Here we go....I got caught up in the "I'm making an Instructable" moment and forgot the "2 loaf pan" part. This is what happens when you try to put it all into 1 pan. Echoing words from Mr. Alton Brown... "This Is Not Good Eats!" Anyway lets get back on track.

Step 6: Bread Extraction

Remove bread from oven, let cool, slice and enjoy!

If you are a Pistachio, Honey or Cinnamon fan, please try this one. You won't regret it! All three flavors are very distinct in this recipe.

Thanks for checking this out!
