Introduction: Plum Banana Smoothie

About: I love making things. Take a look at what I have! :3
I wanted to make a delicious Mango Lassi today, but my mango was rotting. :c

So instead I came up with this!

What you need:
2 small plums
1 banana
Orange juice
Yogurt of your choice
Blender
Small mixer

Add-ins can be:
More fruit
Granola
Ice
Sugar or honey

(It was only me today in smoothie land, so this serves one.)

Step 1: Gathering

For my smoothie today, I used Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt, 100% Orange Juice (no pulp), two small plums, and a ripe banana.

Step 2: Cut 'em Up!

Start by slicing your plums and removing the pit. For this smoothie, I wanted it to be super smooth, so I didn't include the skin.

Once you have your plums all sliced, throw them into the little mixer (or any mixer you have that doesn't leave chunks.)

My little mixer had a hard time trying to blend the plums, so I added a splash of orange juice, though you can put as much as you want.

Mix it until it's completely blended and smooth.

Now get your banana and slice it so that it can blend easier. And just like the plum, it won't mix too well on its own, so add about 2 heaping tablespoons of yogurt. You can add as much as you like, but I found this to be enough.

Again, blend until smooth.

Step 3: Serve & Enjoy!

You can mix the two parts of your drink, but I kept it separate.

First, pour in the banana mix as the base, then the plum mix on top. The banana part is sweet enough on its own, but if not, add in a little sugar to taste. However the plum part was tart, but I enjoyed the sour over sweet. Still, sugar can be added.

I'm sure it would taste fantastic with granola on top.
