Popsicle Stick Buzz Harmonica

This little buzzing harmonica sure makes a big sound!

I wasn't buzzing any particular tune, but you could do simple songs.  Maybe play these at a birthday party?
 

Step 1:

The first step is to gather your materials. 
You'll need:
2 Popsicle sticks
2 rubber bands
1 toothpick
1 strip of paper

You'll also need scissors to cut the paper.
If you want to be decorative, you can cover the sticks in duct tape like me.

Step 2:

Next, cut a strip of paper the approximate size of the Popsicle stick.  Then cut two pieces of toothpick the width of the stick.

Step 3:

Lay the strip of paper over the Popsicle stick and a toothpick piece on top of it.

Step 4:

Wrap a rubber band on the side with the toothpick.  Then put the second toothpick piece on the opposite side of the paper.

Step 5:

Secure the final rubber band around the open end, and put your mouth lightly on the Popsicle sticks.  Blow fast, and you'll get a loud buzz that you can change the pitch of depending on how much you squeeze your lips on the Popsicle sticks.  Enjoy!
