If you follow these easy, fast, precise instructions you will get yourself an easy Popsicle stick house. You can follow these steps just for fun, to see if you can make a new skill, or if you want to surprise a relative or friend with an awesome, handmade gift. To make this creation, you would obviously need Popsicle sticks (you can buy colored ones or just normal sticks), some kind of glue or tape to help keep it together, and if you would like, maybe paint to color it. You can get these materials at a local craft store, Dollar Tree, Walmart, Target, or other places. Just remember to have fun, enjoy your time, and release your inner craftiest!

Supplies

- Popsicle Sticks

- Glue or something to keep it together

- Paint (optional)

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

The very first step to do this amazing house, is to have the materials you will be using and to start with a base. For example, before starting to do something, you need to know and make sure of what you have. You should start putting Popsicle sticks next to each other until you have a solid base. To make it more sturdy, you can put sticks across your base like in the photo above.

Step 2: Create Your Walls

Now that you've finished your first step, you will start the side walls. Making the walls is very similar to the base. The only difference is that you will have to glue all the sides together in a way that they will stay. The number of walls you would make are 3 for the left side, right side, and back. Leaving the front without anything.You can put one extra Popsicle stick on your walls if you want to make it easier on yourself. Putting an extra Popsicle stick will help the two walls stick together without having to use both of the sides.When your done making your walls and gluing them together, glue that big piece onto the base.

Step 3: Make Your Front Wall and Door

This step is as important as the other ones. Having a house with only 3 walls and a base, is not very pleasing. To finish the structure, you will do the front wall with a door and a window if you'd like. I'm only going to show you how to do the wall with a door, but it shouldn't be much different from the door. The easiest way to make the door is to cut Popsicle sticks less than half of there length. For half of the wall you will make it like the rest, but when it comes to where you want to put your door, you will start putting the small pieces on the top. You can put as many as you want depending on how wide you want your door to be. After doing that, you will add normal sized Popsicle sticks on the remaining wall. The very last instruction for this step, is to glue it all together.

Step 4: Make a Roof

Now that you have your structure, the last touch is to put a roof. For this step you have two options. Making an actual roof or just a wall type like the ones around your house. Since the second option is very simple to add, I'll tell you how to do the first roof. For this step you will do two walls again, but put them where they touch in the very top. For example, in the picture above.

Step 5: Paint It! (Optional)

Now if you don't want to do this step, you can go ahead and skip this. But if you do, the only instruction for you is to have fun and color it as you would like. You can make it pretty, colorful, or even creepy! Just have fun with it and enjoy your time.
