Introduction: Prairie Frost

Frozen coffees are very delicious but what about the people who prefer tea?

Here is the solution - the Prairie Frost

Step 1:

To make two glasses of Prairie Frost you will need the following:

Equipment:
Kettle
Standard ice cube tray
Freezer
Plastic bag
Rolling pin
Hand blender
Pitcher large enough to use hand blender in
Drinking glasses

Ingredients:
Water
Earl Grey tea
Sweetened Condensed milk
Milk
Vanilla extract
Whipped cream (optional)
Sprinkles (optional)

Step 2:

Brew enough Earl Grey tea to fill standard ice cube tray.

Freeze until solid.

NOTE:  Tea will stain a plastic ice cube tray.  You can remove the stain by adding a cap full of bleach to approximately 4 cups of water and filling the ice cube tray with the bleach mixture for 2-5 minutes.  You can also use the bleach mixture to remove stains from coffee cups.  Discard bleach mixture down the sink and flush with plenty of water.  Rinse the ice cube tray (or cups) with lots of water and then wash using your regular method.

Step 3:

Place frozen tea ice cubes into a plastic bag and use rolling pin to break into smaller pieces.

Shake broken tea/ice into the pitcher and add:
1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cap of vanilla extract

Use hand blender to blend all ingredients until smooth.
Add more milk if a thinner consistency is desired.

Pour into two glasses.  Top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired.

Enjoy!!
