When it comes to snacks, spice and chicken are the first ingredients I think of. Recipes for boneless chicken are endless! All you need to do is mix the perfect amount and flavored ingredients and done! Chicken popcorn is one of those perfectly spicy and crunchy recipes you can't say no to! This recipe is perfect for a crowd or party, besides it doesn't take much time to prepare.

In this ible I'll show you how to prepare chicken popcorn in minutes!

Step 1: Ingredients

To prepare this snack you will need-

  1. Boneless chicken - amount would depend on the number of people being served
  2. Lemon - to marinate the chicken
  3. Salt - for taste
  4. Spices - chilli, tamarind, coriander,
  5. Rice flour - 2 tsp
  6. Plain flour - 2 tsp
  7. Egg white
  8. Potato chips - to make crumbs
  9. Oil - to fry the popcorns

Step 2: Preparing Chicken and Crumbs

Cut the boneless chicken into tiny bite sized pieces and wash them.

Add the pieced chicken in a small bowl and add 1 or 2 tsp of lemon juice.

While the chicken pieces marinate we can prepare the crumbs. You can use breadcrumbs but I used crunchy potato chips to make the crumbs. I simply crushed the chips into small pieces (do not crush the chips into powder).

Step 3: Adding Spices and Others

Now add all the spices to the pieced chicken.

Also add salt, rice flour, plain flour and egg white to the pieced chicken and mix them really well.

Finally add the chips crumbs and mix them nicely again. Leave the mixture for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes prepare tiny bite sized batches from the mixture.

Step 4: Frying

Heat oil on medium flame.

Once the oil is heated deep fry the batches on medium heat until the batches turn light golden on the outside.

Place them on a napkin to soak oil.

Serve hot with green chilli sauce and french fries.

Enjoy!
