Princess Leia Buns

Here is a tutorial for some awesome Princess Leia buns with a twist, braids! These are super fun if you are going to see the new StarWars movie:) This hairstyle can be done by anyone it is super easy!

Step 1: Part Hair

Part the hair into a middle part. Make these super straight because it will add to the overall effect of this hairstyle.

Step 2: Put Into Pigtails

You are going to pull the hair into super tight pigtails. Make sure to smooth the hair down. You can make high pigtails, low pigtails, or middle pigtails.

Step 3: Braiding

Braid the pigtails. You can do fishtail braids, 3 strand braids, or anything else. I chose fishtails because I think they look the coolest.

Step 4: Pancake the Braids

After braiding you are going to pull on the sides of the braid to make it look fuller and thicker. Do this a lot and make it as big as you can.

Step 5: Make the Buns

Wrap the braids around themselves and secure with bobby pins.

Step 6: Finish With Hairspray

Finally, you are going to spray it with hairspray. I am using Sebastian Pro Shaper+.
