Dealing with the loss of my right hand has allowed me to experience just what is affordably on the rather narrow market of upper limb prosthetics. Many of these While providing a somewhat anesthetic approach to appearance, and limited functionality, are still for the most part, Just hooks or claws designed for simple clamp style manipulation of objects. Many of these also rely primarily upon the operators familiarity with the mechanics that open, or close the the grasp of these tools.
Eventually I'll offer projects of my own variations on the themes shown here. Till them, join me in the exploration of a better affordable limb for those that have suffered the loss of one.
