Quick Clean for an Engine Air Filter.

It's been 2 years since this Kia Rio had a new filter. Time to inspect.

Step 1: Accessing the Filter.

Four clips pulled off the filter housing and the filter is visible now.

Step 2: Inspection.

Yuck. It's really dirty. Sadly I don't have a new filter so I had to make do.

Step 3: Cleaning.

Using engine degreaser I cleaned this filter.

Step 4: Completion.

I let the cleaned filter dry in the sun and reinstalled into the car. Now the engine breaths better and performance is improved.
