Introduction: Quick and Easy Clip on Mobile Gaming Trigger Buttons (PUBG, Fortnite)

About: A high school student that makes stuff.

I enjoy playing FPS (first-person shooter) games on my smartphone, but there is one problem: I can only use two of my fingers. I find it especially annoying that I'm not able to move and shoot at the same time, which is crucial during those top ten situations. So I designed a pair of trigger buttons, one for aiming and one for firing, just like a controller. It only takes 15 minutes to print and 30 seconds to assemble, and it will fit most smartphones. These bad boys are a must-have if you want to be an epic/alpha mobile gamer.

Step 1: Supplies

Materials:

  • Aluminum Tape
  • 3D Printed Parts

Tools:

  • 3D Printer
  • Scissor

3D print the clips on its side and use 100% infill, no support needed

Step 2: Cut and Apply the Aluminum Tape

Cut the aluminum tape into two 1cm x 3.5cm wide strips, then apply to the 3D printed parts as shown above.

Step 3: Setup Your Controls (PUBG)

These clip on buttons will work with any game as long as you can customize the controls. Simply drag the aim and fire button the top corner of your screen, and align them with your clips.

Step 4: Gaming Time!

Enjoy dominating the server with your pair of trigger buttons.
