Introduction: Re-use Wrapping Paper Bunting

Here for #SustainableSurrey Christmas we have shown how to make easy Christmas bunting with your left over wrapping paper.

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

You will need:

- Scissor

- Ruler

- Pencil

- Cello tape

- Left-over wrapping paper

- Card template

- White paper

- String

- Glue

Step 2: Draw Your Triangles

Taking your template, draw out 15 bunting tringles trying to waste as little paper as possible.

Step 3: Cut Out Each Triangle

Once they are all drawn out, cut out each triangle carefully with scissors.

Step 4: Folding

Fold each triangle top to make it flat with a flap as seen in the picture

Step 5: Letters

Next, measure out the size of the letters you want. Ours are 8cmx8cm.

Step 6: Cutting Out Letters

After, on 8cmx8cm paper squares, draw and cut out each letter spelling out 'MERRY CHRISTMAS'

Step 7: Sticking the Letters

Next, using a glue stick, glue each letter onto one of the bunting triangles in the middle.

Step 8: Taping the Triangles

Using the sting, cello tape and triangles, start to tape each triangle onto the string by taping the string on the fold then tape the fold down. Repeat this for each triangle with a 15cm gap between each triangle.

Step 9: Hang It Up

Finally, cut the string around 20cm on each end and hang up where it is desired.
