Introduction: Refurbished Industrial Sewing Machine
These are the before and after pictures of a fifty year old industrial sewing machine that I purchased off of eBay. The machine is a "darner" that, as I understand, was used for mending and splicing the web for textile manufacturing.
I built a new table reusing the metal hardware and legs. I refinished the sewing machine body as well as cleaning and aligning the mechanical transmission of the sewing machine. Lastly, I added a new servo motor to control the speed.
