Relay for Life

My sister and I have done Relay for life in the past 2 years and have had the themes of 'A little birdie told me the cure for cancer is coming soon' and "rooting for a cure". In conjunction, we made birds and pigs for fundraising.Both are made from yarn, plastic eyes, cotton fiberfill, and the pigs have button noses that we sewed on with yarn. We also had a little fun with the pigs and added wings (see picture). Both years we were able to sell out and raise over $1000. Unfortunately, I will not be providing a free pattern for these, since I am hoping to make a booklet to sell, once we've made a few animals over the years. Once I make the booklet, I will be sure to leave a link to the website where they may be purchased.
