Make a beautiful coaster that looks like a firework! If this is your first time doing resin, talk to an expert or watch a detailed video on how to correctly do resin. If you didn't know, resin is a plastic adhesive! Most people call resin "epoxy resin" but people call it resin for short. Amaze your friends with this beautiful creation!

Supplies

-Resin

-Resin Hardener

-Mica Powders (any color plus white)

-Popsicle stick or spatula

-Measuring cups with milliliters

-Coaster mold (pour into the mold until it is full, and make sure the amount of water you poured was about 40 mL.

Step 1: Making the Resin

As I said before, DON'T follow these instructions until you have done resin before and know what you are doing. First, pour 20 mL of hardener. Then, pour 20 mL of resin. DO NOT GUESS THE MEASUREMENTS. Mix for 3 mins. Make sure to mix until all the "streaks" are gone and the resin is perfectly clear. Separate into 2 containers. Add as much white mica powder as you want to the first one. Then, repeat the last step but with green powder in the second cup.

Step 2: Finishing and Taking Out the Resin

Pour both the green and white into the mold and swirl while pouring. It might not look like a firework until it sets. Wait 10 hours, and then your resin should be done! Don't take it out until you've waited 10 hours, or it might lose shape or be sticky and bendy.
