Roasty Toasty Marshmallows

While my dad was busy with Campfire Toad In The Hole, I saw an opportunity.

A fire. A bag of Marshmallows.

After a quick rummage for skewers, I was all set.

Step 1: Build a Fire

In true Blue Peter style, here's one I made earlier.

Or rather, my dad did for his Campfire Toad in the Hole, thanks Dad!

Step 2: Get Toasting

Thread large marshmallows onto a skewer.

Wait...and wait...until the fire is down to embers.

Hold the marshmallows on the skewer over the embers.

Rotate until the marshmallows start to go golden and squishy.

Step 3: Reluctantly Share With Your Sister.

If you're careful, you can eat these straight off the skewer.

We popped ours into a bowl so that we could use the skewers for more marshmallows.
