Introduction: Scrappy Camera Sunglasses

This is a simple way to control camera motors with only few switches.

Old camera's can be found on flea market and E-bay very cheap.I payed 10 cents for first and 2 dollars for second.

All camera's of this type pull out lenses when you turned it on,everything else can be broken, but that part need to work because they are usually made from plastic and it is almost impossible to fix it, if it is deformed.

Step 1: Dismantle the Camera

Dismantle the Camera and remove all the lenses.Any camera can do as long it is no jammed.

Just remove all the screws that are on your way!

Step 2: Cut the Glass From Old Sunglasses

Most of the cheap sunglasses are made from plastic. Just cut it on the right size.I cut little by little until it fits.

Step 3: Make the Wire Connections

I used switches from old CD-roms .Solder 1m long wire between motors and circuit so you can control it from your pocket. Connect everything like on circuit and turn one switch 180 degrees so they will move in same direction.

Step 4: Fialize

I used hot glue to keep it in place, and i paint it with black acrylic paint to hide the glue..
