Introduction: Seasoning Your Cast Iron
Step 1: Intro
Cast iron is an amazing non-stick flavor packed surface if you know how to take care of it, and a terrible surface if u don't. So I've made it my duty to teach you the ways of the iron. It is also the best pan for any Mexican dish.
Step 2: Gather Supplies
1. Cast iron pan
2. Vegetable oil
3. Your favorite spice mix.(I used seven steak spice.)
4. Stove
5. Steam vent
6. Paper towels

Step 3: Set Up
Set stove burner to medium and steam vent to high. Fill pan with a thin layer of oil and a couple table spoons of seasoning.
Step 4: Heat It Up
Place the pan the burner until oil is hot but not boiling. Using a paper towel wipe oil up on to sides every ten minutes for an hour. Take the pan of the burner, drain the oil, and dry the pan with a paper towel.
Step 5: Preserve
Now that you posses the best nonstick pan around you need to keep it that way. The main rule is NEVER LET EVEN A DAB OF SOAP TOUCH THE PAN. It will destroy the pan. For cleaning just boil water in it for sanitization. Always dry immediately seeing as iron can will rust.
Step 6: Enjoy Your Amazing Non Stick Pan and Call It Fajita Night
