Introduction: Shrewsbury Biscuits
These biscuits are very delicious and buttery biscuits which are inspired by Pune's famous Shrewsbury biscuits we usually serve this biscuits with tea or milk
Step 1: Ingredients
11/4 cup all purpose flour
3 tablespoon milk powder
2 tablespoon custer powder
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup powder sugar
1/2 teaspoon paking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
3 tablespoon milk powder
2 tablespoon custer powder
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup powder sugar
1/2 teaspoon paking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
Step 2: Mix All Dry Ingredients
Take a bowl add all purpose flour, milk powder, Custer powder, baking soda, baking powder, cardamom powder and mix it well.
Step 3: Beat Butter and Sugar
Take another bowl beat butter and sugar with electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy.
Step 4: Add Flour Mixture
Add the flour mixture beat at low speed untill moist and holds together.
Step 5: Take Out the Dough
Take out the dough and divide into 3 parts.
Step 6: Mix Food Color
Mix orange color in one part and yellow in another part and keep another part as it is. Keep the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.
Step 7: Rolling Dough
now roll the yellow dough slightly longer. then roll white and wrap yellow dough.
Step 8: Repeat the Process
Repeat this process with orange dough. now wrap the dough and keep the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Step 9: Preheat the Oven.
Preheat the oven 180 C.
Step 10: Baking
Cut the cookies and place cookies on baking tray and bake it for 20 minutes.
Step 11: Serve.
Know cookies is ready server with tea or hot milk.
