Simple, Discreet Webcam Cover

Easy way to do it right

Step 1: Electrical Tape

Cut a piece of vinyl electrical tape about 30mm in length.

Step 2: Trim the Tape

On a cutting board trim the tape into a "T" shape using razor blade.

Step 3: Fold

Fold the tape over into an "I" shape, leaving tape adhesive on the ends. The middle of the tape at the fold will not have adhesive and will not damage or dirty your webcam lens.

Step 4: Install

Place over webcam to prevent unauthorized/covert use of your webcam.

Step 5: Open and Reuse

Open and fold back to use the webcam, Fold back over to cover again. Again very discreet, doesn't take away from the look of your laptop.
